My Laundry
They forgot this verse in "If You Could Hie To Kolob"
There is no end to Laundry
There is no end to dust
There is no end to dishes
There is no end to rust.
There is no end to diapers
There is no end to crud
There is no end to cleaning
There is no end to mud.
so, am i the only person in the world who waits and waits and waits to put laundry away? i have no problem doing it, and even folding it and putting it into bins and piles for their respective destinations... but do i really have to put it away?
and, to be honest, i have 2 more loads processing and one more in the queue.... ahhhhhh laundry! ;)

Laundry is my worst enemy! I hate it! It truely is NEVERENDING!!! I have no problem getting things washed and dried and I don't have a problem putting it away. I really like to put it all away before a kid comes by and ruins it all. I just really really hate getting it ready to put away! I have to just get past that mental block and JUST DO IT! I am happy to say I am not backed up right now, but it never lasts very long!
Im sooo with you Em. And then when I am putting it away I think "this really isnt bad" but then the next time comes around and i cant get my self to do it!
My problem is the folding. If they invent a dryer to fold the clothes after they are dry I am SOOOO buying that! Not sure that is ever gonna happen but a girl can dream righ?
I too love magic shell on my ice cream! And laundry, Oh laundry, how I loathe thee... I have baskets of folded laundry, but where to put it away? Not enough space! When my SIL gets back from Utah on the 14th I'll talk to her abt. coming for a visit.(the one who lives in Round Rock... we'd caravan up there)
I definetly have a hard time getting laundry put up. We live out of baskets because I just cant do it. My daughter has to many clothes and so if I put all hers away the drawers dont clothes on her small dresser. The bad thing about not putting clothes away is that she just wears the same ones over and over again and doesn't wear the other cute clothes in her drawers...oh well
I hear ya....the stacks and piles grow bigger every day and don't even get me started on how many times I start a load and forget to move it to the dryer then I have to wash it again and again and again! I hate dishes too, but that is another blog comment!
Emily, it is so great to see your blog! I was on Chaffee's and saw that you had posted there so I thought I would go to yours. I too am living in Texas, in San Antonio, with my family while I am doing a dental residency program for the year. Where are you at in relation to San Antonio? It's good to see that you are doing well!
missed you today! exercise group got cancelled and I just wanted you to know! hope to see ya soon!...girls night is thursday if you didn't know!
Okay, did you write the words to that verse of If You Could Hie to Kolob, if so can I share it with friends? My sister Shanon has some laundry system that she blogged about and it has been working for her for at least a couple of months now. I keep telling myself that I am going to try it (just like I keep telling myself that I am going to one day get the laundry put away!). I am with you, it's easy to clean the clothes, but it is not so fun getting them put away!
I always do that! I want to hire someone just to put the stupid laundry away!!! My hubby always puts the laundry in and even gets it to the dryer..then he stops and says, I helped with laundry today. I always think, yeah the part a 2 year old can do, do the crappy part, put it away! So I am right there with you!
I know you have seen my problem on webcam MANY TIMES.... My laundry.. I dont mind doing... but i fold it and put it in piles on my bed... with the intention by the end of the night to at least get it in the kids bedrooms but NOPE... it goes in a pile on the floor and in the morning.. back in piles on the bed to again be attempted at put away.. seriously i have a problem... because it takes me NO KIDDING at least a week of doing that until the piles on the floor every night drive me crazy enough to FINALLY get the clothes in the kids rooms... then i am totally lame and expect the kids to put their clothes right away... but I have no right to get mad if it takes them an extra week to do their part... after all i was totally slacking...
LOVE YA!!!
You are better than I am. I can throw the clothes in and keep the cycles going, but then I don't get to the folding part. We have a BIG pile of clothes on the side of our bed. That's where the family goes now to pick something to wear!
Hey Emily! How are y'all? I can't believe you live in TX! It was so nice to hear from you! We live in Queen Creek and Kelli's studio is on QC as well. She has a great market and has over 400 kiddos! I don't really keep in touch with Tally. I know she has a little boy with one on the way. There was a bit of drama (as you could imagine) when Kelli opened her studio, so that kind of put a damper in our relationship with the Gooch's. Anyhow, you sound like you are having a blast being a madre and doing laundry! I don't mind doing it, but I hate folding and putting away...talk to you soon!
