I knew it...

Well, I hate to say it, but I knew the Cowboys would lose today.
It doesn't make me any less dissapointed.
Maybe the whole team should have gone down to mexico - Romo and Witten didnt TOTALLY suck. I just wish our defense could have stepped up. I wish Crayton could have caught a ball. I wish... I wish...
I think we now see the importance of a December surge. Who cares how good you do in the season. We saw it today with the Colts and the Cowboys - you get too comfortable and dont play anymore through December (well, you can blame the colts loss on some turnovers, but maybe that even helps illustrate my point better) However, by the END of the season, those teams you beat earlier in the year have better chemistry. They have a HEART. They play through injuries and are fighting to get somewhere you just think you deserve.
While we are at it, we can pull the Mavs into this conversation. Last year, they had an AMAZING season. But, when it came down to it, they ALLOWED a team into the playoffs by letting their starters "rest". It was THAT VERY team that fought so hard just to get INTO the playoffs that BEAT them in the first round.
So, do we care how well you play through the year if you cant get past 1 FRICKEN round of the playoffs?
no
Go get some heart and go for a championship - not just for the 1st round BYE...

But, on a happier note...

We got bunkbeds for the boys. We ordered them from www.Bunkbedking.com, for CHEAP and they were here 2 days later (WOW!). of course, charity didnt want to be left out of the bunkbed fun, so she has been sleeping in there with them. Nate loves it, and has done pretty well even taking naps and not getting too crazy (yet) on them. We'll see how it goes.

Who cares about the cowgirls anyway! They are lucky they don't have to face the wrath of the Pack next week. I was hoping for some vindication from the home town refs but I guess the giants will be a good tune-up for the Pack before they show Barbie and the boys who the real champs are.

Bob

p.s. I think in a previous blog entry I called the embarrising defeat of the cowgirls. Thanks Jessica!!

Yes, I think we all knew it would end like this for your boys. I found it fun to watch the overly dramatic T.O. crying in his post game interview. The only bad thing about it is that Dan's bro has a signed Romo rookie card he was hoping to sell on ebay right before the super bowl. Oh well, at least those bunk beds are fun!

On a side note...you children are absolutely precious and bunk beds rock. Nice to know the website you got them from thanks!

Love the bunkbed and the pics of them sleeping.

P.S. You have permission to physically hurt Bob if you have to.

Just like Kody says "the cowboys suck!"

Your bunkbed looks great! Did Nate get his hair cut? They are all so cute asleep.

How did you get Nate to sleep in a real bed? Audrey just lays there till she realizes she has to actually go to sleep, and then starts crying. You will have to share some tips!!

Wish I would have known about bunkbed king earlier! I serarched and searched and finally settled. Love the sleeping arrangements! My kids all do the same thing. It really is great even when you want to be annoyed with it.

All I know is I saw T.O crying on TV. What is up with that? Not the hugest fan of football but come on T.O.! Anyway, I'll have to keep the bunk bed site on hand. We'll be checking into some once we have baby #3. What a cutie Charity is. So what day are you up for skiing/snowboarding??? Let me know so I can make arrangements.

Can you believe I just sold my Cargo bunkbeds on Craigs List for $250? I hated them after one year and just had to get rid of them. They totally suck when you want to change the sheets...and if you're OCD like me & have to have ALL the beds in the house made every morning, you really start to hate them. I was always hitting my head.

I wish I had known you wanted some bunks!

Sorry about the Cowboys, Em. If it's any consolation, I'm pretty sure the Giants will lose the next one.
Your kids are so cute, and it's super nice of Aaron to let Charity sleep on his bed with him.
About me - I'm totally fine. That's a joke b/c I heard you freaked about my last entry. :) It's understandable. I love you!

Em, sorry for being nosy today. I really wasn't trying to get in your "bid-ness" I was just worried you were in a wreck or stranded or something. Tough break! I assure you I understand!

Hang in there girl!
