Cute things:

First, see my baby Nate: Seriously, while I was unloading the dishwasher, he helped!!! He just went to town on the silverware. I didn't even ask him to do it!!! He just started taking utensils one tiny handful at a time from the dishwasher to the silverware drawer. He was so pleased with himself. Honestly, I was pleased too! WOW! all this help and he isnt even 18 months yet!!!

Then, see Aaron and Charity. What happens when you have to ignore your children all afternoon so you can teach piano? They run around looking like WT - sweaty and barefoot with REALLY dirty feet. The pictures dont do it justice. Oh yea, notice the cool Blue Angels costume I made for Aaron last Halloween. He wears this ALL the time! It is a little small for him now, and it is getting holes in the knees - but he STILL loves it! (I think it's GOT TO BE uncomfortable cause the jumpsuit is encroaching his "personal space")... Anyways, when I tried to get them ready for tonight's football practice, i noticed how gross they were... So, they started modeling their feet - they were so proud.

3 Noteworthy tidbits:
1. I was so sad, but I told 3 of my students I couldn't teach them anymore. I started crying when I was talking to this one mom. I love my students so much, and it will be so hard for me to let them go... but I really do think I will be a better mom if I scale back to only a few kids on one day.
2. SOOO glad I didn't get L.T. in any of my Fantasy Football leagues - he really hasn't produced this year (yet)... I did get Drew Brees (due to my husband thinking he was doing me a favor) but I dropped him for Kitna - I wonder how that will play out...
3. Speaking of Fantasy Football... I am not doing too bad! YAY! credit it to the fact I am in 4 leagues (so my heart isnt broken if I lose in 1 of them). PLUS, my FAVORITE team, the COWBOYS are doing quite well so far. Also, I am simply a GREAT fantasy football player ;).

I am doing terrible at fantasy football. I am definitely going to lose to Joe, and that will make me 0-3!! Wow, I am really bad at this. Or, at least my players aren't doing well for me. I guess next year I should do more homework and get guys that win!! hehe!

I'm glad to see you cut back on your piano lessons. It will be good for you!

it is so hard to say "no" isn't it? I'm sure those kids will be able to find another piano teacher (although I'm sure non are as fun as you!) and you will feel better. That is good.

Yeah, about LT - he sucks and I have him. Actually, my whole team sucks! But that should make Jeff and Joe feel good about themselves. I am sure that after this week Jeff will start another league in hopes of having a winning team.

I hate saying NO...I was told to practice actually saying no to things. I suck at really I do...ask me anything and I will find someway to go out of my way to make you happy even if it means I will be miserable...go ahead and try!

I like your WT kids! And how cute of Nate to be such a good little helper! And you better keep your number of students down because you always talk about downsizing but end up taking more anyways....Just say NO!

Ben got first pick in our league and he took LT and I think he is definitely kicking himself now! Crappy that he spent his first round draft pick on him and he's not doing anything this year! That's why my FF philosophy is to just start off picking the hot guy - Tom Brady - and you're good to go! :)

I know it was probably hard to cancel your lessons, but sometimes us moms think we're super moms and can do everything. In the end, we have no energy and sometimes miss out on some great things going on in our lives because we can't say no to other people. So, all I can say is GOOD FOR YOU!!

BTW... looks like your kids didn't have any issues entertaining themselves, while you were doing lessons!!

Em... for your info. they are ranked 23rd by the AP... and I hate to say it but High School reunions are over rated. Who wants to sit around and listen to people brag about how successful they think they are or brag about how good they think they look... no thanks, but I would love to see you as well.
