Sunday in the Canyon
Today, we went to lunch in American Fork Canyon with the Atkin family. It was absolutely beautiful! The weather was perfect. The scenery was so amazing!
We walked around on the trails for a little bit. I could have stayed up there for hours, but apparently, Joe got bored and maybe the kids got tired, so we turned around and headed back to the car. The run-off was making the river/stream run so quickly. It made for nervous parents as the little ones kept getting nearer the edge throwing rocks in to the rapids. It was running so fast that you could hear the rocks under the water getting pushed downstream.
I guess in Texas we couldn't have spent the day outside in the mountains eating lunch and hiking around... maybe I will start to like it here a bit better?

Gorgeous! That pic of Charity is beautiful. Oh, and you could spend the day in Texas hiking & having a picnic...there's just be rivers of sweat rolling of you. It's HOT here now, but it's still awesome to be hanging out by the pool!
I love American Fork Canyon! I used to go camping there every summer when I was growing up. It is sooooo beautiful!
There are great things about Utah... I do love the woods in Connecticut - the pretty, winding highways and New England churches, but there really is something about getting up high... enjoy it while you're there! And go to Red Iguana in Salt Lake - my favorite Mexican food on the planet!
Charity is so beautiful! Shes getting so big and so is Rylee!
