A little explanation

So, you want to know how i get coordinating outfits?
How about I tell you how I get decent family pictures each year.
here is the original family picture:
I got rid of a few frizzy hairs and SOMEONE's unibrow. I also (very poorly) got rid of the crap in the background. But, i think it looks too fake, so i ...
zoomed in, and changed nates' green diamonds to red, and aaron's stripe to red.
then i overlayed sepia... and like magic, a picture emerges where we look kindof coordinated...
Last year, I morphed my kids heads in from other pictures (because none of them cooperated at the same time)!!! Basically, we always look like CRAP in our photos... but with a little magic, i can get something presentable. all i can say is YAY PHOTOSHOP!!! YAY for Spencer K. teaching me how to use the GIMP one summer while i worked with my dad - photoshop is just like it - YAY also for marrying a GEEK who loves computers and gets me photoshop and the cooresponding literature so i can read up and keep learning cool things!

SO - courtney, even if you dont match for your family pics this year, it can ALL BE FIXED!!! ;)

That is the coolest thing ever!!! I had already asked for photoshop for Christmas now I REALLY hope I get it!
That is so funny that the sweater is from Target, when I asked where it came from I was thinking to myself, "It lookes like that green one on saw at Target the other day. I wonder if it comes in different colors?". I guess not! haha! Too bad I can't photshop things in 'real life'!! Great job Em!

Looks good! I can't believe how blue Nate's eyes are. That's really neat. Family pictures are always difficult. I can't imagine how it would be with 3 kids.

Very cute, I'm impressed by your handiwork! :) Good luck at Joe's party too, hope you found something to wear. Luckily (or not) Ben's work doesn't do anything for the Holidays so I never have to worry about that! :)

Photoshop is my best friend! My Mom is always sending me pictures..."take my purse out of this one", "make my dress black, not blue", etc. I think it is man's greatest invention (next to air conditioning and drive thru's!)

You are the best Em! I love your card and am envious of your photoshopping abilities. Now if I could just trade my shopping abilities in for photoshopping ones I would be SO cool!!!

Hi Emily - this is Stephanie Ryan, Marcus' wife. So he showed me your blog and this picture and I have a question for you (since your picture magic is genius, btw). Do you use regular Photoshop or Photoshop elements? You all look fabulous!

Emily, I love photoshop as well, but it appears that you know some cool tricks that you have to teach me. I could spend hours on Photoshop editing my photos that I take. By the way, we are planning on making a trip up to Dallas and would love to hang out again. I'll email you.
