Six Flags

So, last night, we went to six flags (just Joe and I and some friends and NO kiddos)

I was so excited cause we finally got a chance to ride rides together and not take turns with the kids etc. I have always loved roller coasters. I thought I was so tough. But alas, my physical age is taking over my mental, and after riding front row (as shown in this video) of the MR FREEZE RIDE:

I was not feeling like my usual self. I thought the feeling would pass... so we rode on the BATMAN ride. I TOTALLY BLACKED OUT! What???? Needless to say, I sat out of most of the other rides for the evening, but I couldn't resist the TITAN... So, here we are the morning after, and i am STILL spinning and feeling nauseous. Even with my little 'hang over' as a consequence (no alchohol involved), I TOTALLY LOVED it! ;)

that ride was pretty amazing. it was like Greezed Lightning with a 2nd stage acceleration. probably would have been best if we had "built" up to the ride by doing something like serpent or the gondola ride.

What's up old lady...join the club! I officially went into the "oh no you go ahead and ride the ride I will shop in the stores" club last year when we went on my mom's bday. It was hilarious. I had to go to the chiropopper and then everything was better. That is so crummy that you blacked out...those rides are getting more intense every year...the giant youcan't even ride on after the age of 18 cause you get so out of alignment.

that has totally happened to me, too.

i just mean the dizzy, yucky tummy, headachey part. so sad to get old. :(

You're not alone! Brett and I went about 6 years ago and we were fine...went again last year...not so good! Brett felt sick for two days after.
Sorry you had such a crummy time and blacked out?!!! Crazy! But what a fun date night is sounds like.

I get sick from the carousel...I haven't been on a real rollercoaster for 2 years but I'm sure I'd feel the same way.

Looks like tons of fun. My sister is coming next week and we are hopefully going to six flags. I hope the same thing doesn't happen to me!

My brother-in-law blacked out on the Titan. Is that not the BEST roller coaster? I love that one. So smooth and exciting. My 11 year old nephew tricked me into going onto Mr. Freeze with him a few years back and my brother got the funniest picture of me on it...that one is too fast and jerky to even enjoy, lol!
