Grateful Sunday (Woops, Monday)
Today I am grateful for the RS broadcast that I actually went to. Ya, I always seem to forget about them, but this time I actually WENT!
I am just really grateful for the inspiration. I am motivated to be a better person now.
I am also grateful for my kids. I just tried a hurry-up throw the kids in bed, and didn't do prayers. WELL, I just caught my sweet son Aaron sneaking into Charity's room to say prayers - just the 2 of them. Standing downstairs, I was able to hear the prayer they said - they remembered people who are sick, and they prayed for eachother to not be scared. Seriously, HOW CUTE IS THAT????

You are way better than me...I didn't go to the broadcast (shhh...don't tell.) I loved the prayer thing. Kids are so cool!
What a sweet older brother! I love that they prayed to not be scared.
wow, SO cute. What a cool thing..I bet that made your day ;)
That is so stinkin' cute! My kids always pray to not have any scary dreams. Kids are so cute and funny.
These kids these days never cease to amaze me! The spirits that they are coming to earth with are so strong and I pray they will continue to use that strength for good through out their lives. It sounds like you are doing a great job at leading them in the right direction. If we could all only remember to learn from them!
Oh I love that story...big brother and already showing a great example. That is so tender and sweet. I liked rs conference too. I thought their was a lot of good ideas for being a better vt'er and offering relief. And Sister Beck(the first lady) talking abotu how we should have the strongest homes because we have the tools...made me think! Thanks for always lifting me up with your blog! Love it!
bu ton a sour note I hate the word verification...ugghh could I type more letters that don't spell anything ...talk about hunt and peck! It's a good thing I like to leave comments:)
That brought tears to my ears...too sweet.
i loved the broadcast too! it was so great.
and that is too sweet about your kiddos, you are doing a good job, there is your proof.
Those are the moments that make the hard times sooooo soooo worth it. What a pair. They must have awesome parents who have taught them really well.
em..
That is so cute. . . I LOVE it when I can take a step back and look at my kids and realize what sweet spirits they are. I love when you can SEE the things you have taught them (importance of prayer) at work.
Good job going to the RS broadcast.. I used the excuse of Chad being out of town and not having a sitter (or really even finding one cause I didnt want to pay to go to a church thing) I figured I would just read it in the Ensign. You are a good example. I heard it was good and I wish I went.
Hey Emily
I love your blog and that story was so cute. I wish I could have gone to the broadcast, everyone is saying great things.
Anyway keep up the cute stories!
