So, here is the decorated stage:
It was a lot easier this time, because i had help and i figured out how to delegate. it took me several months, but FINALLY i figured it out (the whole deletation thing)!

Joe has been working in Dallas this week, so he got a hotel room and we stayed there Wed night. It was fun. I dogged the kids and Joe and I just walked around downtown (by where JFK got shot), and went out to dinner and then back to the hotel... I want to go back and do the whole tourist thing of dealey plaza sometime (when the museum is actually open). I cant believe that i have lived here for so long and never been to the 6th floor museum!!!

I must give a shout out to my son, Aaron. He is a total stud. I have debated about posting this because it might be embarassing... but OH WELL!!!

If anyone has had a bedwetter, they will understand... The only pullups that work are the expensive ones. each pack we buy we SWEAR will be our last. It is so hard not to get mad when he pees through his pullup or forgets to wear one and (of course) saturates the bed. I'm sure he doesnt like knowing his little sister doesnt have to wear pullups, and his friends dont either. I'm sure he feels embarrassed and uncomfortable too. We have tried SO many things. We did this alarm thing- it worked for a while, but then he kept unknowingly pulling it off in the middle of the night... we tried waking him up in the middle of the night to go. we tried no fluids past 6pm... we tried it all. ANYWAYS... today, i am proud to say we are almost through it. he has been dry all but 1 night in the last 20 days or so! that is such a milestone (coming from soaking wet EVERY day for the last 4 years). he has even worn underware to bed for the last week! YAHOO!!!

now we just need to get nate out of diapers ;)

That is great about Aaron, Jake wore pull-ups for a long time too. This was his first school year without 'em!

The stage looks great and you DEF need to go to the JFK museum. We went around the time of the 40th anniversary and it is amazing how similar everything still looks around there when you see the old news footage.

I delivered some stuff from the RS one time to the hospital he died at, and even that area looks similar.

Totally feeling your pain. Our kid has the same bed-wetting issues. But I'm glad to know that there is an end to the tunnel. Because we have tried everything and nothing works!! We only buy Goodnights.

Loved your stage. I'm sitting here again, amazed with all your talent.

I'm glad to hear there are other boys out there that wet there bed. We've been concerned about Parker. The morning beatings didn't help the situations nor did the nightly ones so we just hope it will pass.:)) Seriously though, it's encouraging that there is hope.

I've wanted to go to the museum and the one chance I had it was closed. The stage looks really nice!

I want to know what you did to make hime stop..or was it natural. You give me hope of someday not paying the big bill of pullups. I gotta say that I was ticked when I realized that bedwetting was genetic. I was potty trained at 18 mths or 2 and I thought we would have the same with megs. So I was really disappointed when I heard all of the kids in Doug's family wet forever. crazy! anyway congrats ....that is a huge deal!

Check out your stage!!! That is awesome Em! You are so, cRAzY talented!!
I am so proud (and jealous) to hear about Aaron. That is FABULOUS for all of you! I fear I am still a long way off with poor Jack. I always feel so bad for these poor kids. We too can only buy the blasted $20/pack Goodnights because he leaks out of EVERY other brand. BTW, how did you get him to stop? Did he just start on his own? I NEED TO KNOW!:)
Great job Aaron!!

Way to go Aaron, that is fabulous news! I look forward to Sydney being out of pullups one day, no time soon I'm sure though! But I'm glad we have time, that makes me feel better!

Great job Aaron! I think the thing that helped most was the device we got that wakes him when he has an accident. Emily did most of the work here in waking up with him and taking him potty. Nice work Emo! I'm really proud of you for working with Aaron on knocking this. And I'm sure he appreciates it too.

The stage looks amazing.

That's great about Aaron. Matt's brother had that problem growing up too and the only thing that helped was that alarm thing.

6th Floor Museum is very interesting. A lot of information- kind of neat.

Emily, I didn't know you did that stage! I kept admiring it the whole time, thinking how incredibly clever it was! Is there anything you can't do? Yea for Aaron (and you). That's awesome.
