Where's my fairy?

I drove home last night from our Thanksgiving vacation in Houston (in the rain with a screaming baby and no husband). I got home 15 mins before choir. After choir (luckily it wasnt at my house), I had to go to the store because I was completely OUT of food. I made taquitos for dinner. I put the kids to bed. I unloaded the car. But that was as far as I got. Now, where's the cleaning fairy that will unpack and put all this junk away?

Anyways, here are the pictures from Joe's dad's ranch. We had so much fun there. It was absolutely beautiful.

Argh, that's the worst part of vacation...the post-returning home cleanup! I have a feeling I will have that same pile sitting on my floor tomorrow when we get home! Good luck! And if you find the fairy, send her to my house when she's done at yours! :)

Seriously! That is the worst for me too. I hate unpacking and putting stuff away. Most of the time my suitcase just sits on my floor for about a week after a trip. Then by that point I'm so sick of looking at everything I just dump it all in the washer because I can't remember what is clean and what is dirty.

I think we should all just start leaving our crap on our vacation. dirty clothes, pillows, EVERYTHING!!!! Plus don't we always want a good excuse to buy new stuff....Unpacking is the worst. I dont think the fairy will get there till the beginning of january. YES, I am referring to MOM!!! see if you can stand leaving that stuff lying around till then.
LOVE YA

I too need a fairy from family coming to visit my house. I just need to learn how to sing to the animals like Giselle and they would come running to help me out. Except I would keep the roaches out of the picture!
I love that picture collage you made. Way cute! Oh and if you wan to see the movie again I am so there!

Ok you are so good to go to choir right from returning home from vacation. Emily you and Dawn are a great example to me for going faithfully each week... I told Dawn I need to go, well I have not gone once yet.

Cleaning fairys would be just splendid..

Emily you are to cute. Your kids have a wonderful mom, you work your tail end off..

Kind of off the subject, but you are such a funny writer. Have you ever heard of Bill Simmons from ESPN? I really think you would love him.. My husband and I love great column writers. Check it out if you have already not.

So much fun! Cute storyboard too! I HATE the mess afterward though! Aren't you glad you at least got some cute pictures in?

I'm so jealous! I want to live on or simply go to a ranch! I have a weird obsession with them! Glad you had a good time and Thanksgiving!
Good luck with the aftermath of travel!:)

Haha! I wish that was our neighborhood pool! No, those pictures of Hank were taken at the Point at South Mountain(where we had our reunion)...that was our summer 'vacation'. It's alot of fun! They have a mini water park there with slides, a lazy river, wave pool, etc.

Emily, you amaze me! All that and still you run home for choir practice, and bust your hump to help out with the nativity program. You truly are a strong pioneer woman. Sign me up on the waiting list for the cleaning fairy!

Your kids were awesome today. Charity was telling us all about riding the horses at the ranch--I'm way jealous! (I think my Aiden has a slight crush on Charity by the way). Nate was a little angel and he totally melts me with his big blue eyes! I'm glad you brought them over.

I love your collage--how did you create it?

Yeah, I need a fairy to! I went to CA with the girls by myself... Ali was puking on the way home and we were all sick while we were there, OOooh FUN! My dining room still has all the luggage sitting on it, un packed.

I saw this lady driving down the road the other day in her Navigator, with a sign taped to the back of her truck with masking tape that said "My husband did this". I had to laugh. It looked like he backed into something.
